Our Location
Set in the leafy village of Ewhurst Green, East Sussex, the White Dog Inn is a stunning pub with views of Bodiam Castle and the gorgeous countryside. The White Dog is a family run business that offers fine local ales, great food sourced from local suppliers, and an experience you will never forget.
To the rear of the pub is a lovely beer garden, an outside pizza oven that offers homemade pizzas an a safe environment for your kids to play in. To the side of the pub is the camping and events area. This area is used for our weddings, glamping and corporate events - couple this with the pub and you have a truly unique location for your event.
The local area is stunning and draws hundreds of thousands of people each year. Within a mile of the pub is the historic Bodiam Castle as well as the Kent and East Sussex steam railway. In the next village of Northiam is the lovely Great Dixter House.
Within 10 miles either way of the pub you will find yourself in the historic towns of Rye and Hastings. Both provide a great day out for sight seeing or shopping alike.
In our opinion the best beach in England is situated only a 35 minute drive away. Camber Sands is a must during the summer months, with its miles of sandy beach and sand dunes it really is a great day out. Local Golf clubs include Hawkhurst, Sedlescombe, Dale Hill and Lamberhurst.
For a day out on the river, try Bodiam boating station. Situated in the village of Newenden, this provides the opportunity to have a go at paddle boarding, canoeing and boating.
